The Story of BARGOT
An Encounter in Trastevere
In the summer of 2014, in Rome’s Trastevere district, a single game of chess set in motion a journey that would forever change the way we perceived perfume.

We founded BARGOT in 2020, driven by the desire to create perfumes that would not be shaped in response to fleeting market trends, but would instead exist as authentic and complete olfactory stories.
The name BARGOT was formed by combining parts of the first and last name of Bardomiano Gotto, the man who introduced us to the world of perfumery and changed the way we experience fragrance.
