The Story of BARGOT
An Encounter in Trastevere
In the summer of 2014, in Rome’s Trastevere district, a single game of chess changed the way we understood perfume.
“Perfumes are not created for the market, because that is how they lose their soul. Perfumes are created for the hearts of those who seek eternity in a moment.”
We founded BARGOT in 2020 with the desire to create perfumes that would not follow passing trends, but possess a distinct character and identity of their own.
The name BARGOT was created by combining parts of the first and last name of Bardomiano Gotto, the man who introduced us to the world of perfumery.
